Welcome!

Mind the Gap is an inclusive music group for people with mental and physical health issues in Norwich. We provide a friendly, safe environment to socialise with fellow musicians, play music, form bands, improve skills on guitar, bass, drums, songwriting, vocals and performance.

You can read much more about who we are here.

SOS: Sponsor Our Swimmer! UPDATE

Update: Jasmine completed her marathon swim for us, and thanks to loads of generous benefactors she raised nearly £600! The GoFundMe page is still open if you feel like adding a little more; every pound is incrediblly helpful and allows us to extend our programmes to more people.

The wonderful Jasmine Reeves is raising money for Mind the Gap’s Acoustic Social Sessions, by swimming every day in January! As if that weren’t enough, she’s doing it outside, swimming in rivers and the sea.
You can find out more about why Jasmine loves wild swimming, and donate to this outstanding effort, on her GoFundMe page.
Huge thanks to her for this amazing dedication!

I swim in cold water year-round because it helps my mental health. When I feel anxious, I take to the water and it calms me, and brings me back into the moment. It’s like an extreme version of mindfulness which works, for me.

The Mind The Gap Punk Rock All Stars formed as a supergroup in 2019, as part of a larger community project, Anglia Square: A Love Story. Head over to Bandcamp to listen to this epic collaboration of many local groups! All proceeds from the downloads go to MTG.

See you soon!
Well done guys for all your hard work, music heals
